We love a bit of coloring and since I got an adult coloring book (don’t judge me, they are therapeutic) I wanted to encourage the kiddos to color with me (purely selfish really)
With the snow, rain and freezing temperatures we have been having recently it definitely feels like the depths of winter here still ( I am writing in my dressing gown as we speak) and I am always looking for more kids activities that we can do indoors. Since we like coloring a lot at the moment and I have an adult coloring book, we like to do them together.
The only downside is, if you get a kids coloring book it can sometimes take up a load of space when they are just in the mood to scribble everywhere. If we make a “masterpiece” then of course it gets kept, but if not, throwing away the pages (or recycling them) when we are done helps to keep the house clutter free, which is exactly what we need at the moment!)
S0 this is the list of the best (and free) winter related printables that we have used to amuse ourselves when it’s too cold to face the outdoors or we just want to have a chill out activity (see what I did there!):
