The Asics Gel Nimbus 15 were my first ever running shoes

Although they are now discontinued I thought I would give them the respect they deserve, considering they managed to haul me around for 6 months! They were great shoes and reasonably priced to boot!

Nimbus 15

Name: Asics Gel Nimbus 15

Price: £ 60

Bought from: Wiggle.

Colour: Pink, Purple, White

Special Features:

  • Gel Forefoot and Rearfoot Cushioning

Stability: Good

Style: Standard Running Trainer look (yes that’s a real style)

Notes:

Pros: Great for low mileage/beginner runners (these were my starting out trainers).  Great price and very durable for a lower price range – they lasted me ages.

Cons: They have been discontinued 🙁 (I found when looking for the sales link, also they aren’t very good looking but considering they were one of the cheapest in the price bracket it didn’t matter as much. I doubt they would have lasted as long if I wore them now

Overall Rating:

4 out of 5 – Great beginner/gym  trainers  – but they no longer sell them so… a bit irrelevant
